Stop by for a cup of hot cocoa or coffee December 8th - December 11th for our open house!

This year our local community support drive is serving Feeding Area Children Together (FACT) through a supply drive! We will be collecting non-perishable food items during our open house.   

During November, our clients were invited to participate in a survey and voted FACT to be the non-profit recipient of our holiday drive! 

Here is some information about FACT:

Here in Central Minnesota, 1 in every 5 students do not know where their next meal will come from. Going hungry as a child causes an increased risk of learning and behavioral challenges. Feeding Area Children Together bridges the gap for students when school is not in session through three services:

 FACT PACKS: Distributed before weekends and breaks, these packs provide full meals and high quality snacks.

 FACT Pantries: Housed within our schools, these provide shelf-stable food for both our students and families.

 Break Boxes: Filled with fresh food and pantry staples, these boxes feed our families over longer school breaks, lasting one week or longer.

We are so happy to share the Holiday Giving Drive has been a great success! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hi and drop off supplies for Feeding Area Children Together (FACT)! 

Our office will be closed Thursday, December 18th from 10:30 - 12:00 while we deliver all this to FACT. That means you still have time to stop by if you weren't able to last week! We will continue to collect non-perishable food donations through Wednesday, December 17th.
